Ajman Corniche Waterfront Parking Lot Marking
Re-mark a 1,800-bay waterfront parking lot along Ajman Corniche with high-UV-resistance and coastal-humidity tolerance, plus accessibility bays, EV charging stations and a new taxi-rank layout. The work had to be done without closing the corniche to beachgoers during weekend peak.
The Challenge
Re-mark a 1,800-bay waterfront parking lot along Ajman Corniche with high-UV-resistance and coastal-humidity tolerance, plus accessibility bays, EV charging stations and a new taxi-rank layout. The work had to be done without closing the corniche to beachgoers during weekend peak.
Our Solution
Specified a UV-stable solvent-based acrylic line system with preformed thermoplastic symbols for high-traffic durability. Layout was re-engineered to add 36 EV charging bays, 56 accessibility bays and a 12-bay taxi rank, with green tourism-zone wayfinding striping.
Execution
Crews worked Sunday-to-Thursday overnight shifts, applying 1,800 bay lines with 36 EV bay boxes (green corner detail), 56 accessibility symbols, taxi-rank yellow hatching and pedestrian walkways with anti-skid hatch. Final layout was surveyed against Ajman Municipality parking standards.
